Overview
I am Suryateja! A developer, student, and lifelong learner at University of California, Riverside pursuing a bachelors degree in Computer Science.
My passion for building started with Legos as a child and grew through high school programming classes and projects.
After that, I have been trying out different things since 2021 and realized one thing. I love building things and figuring out ways to convert an idea into applications. As a developer, I try to create projects that can not only be useful to others but also helping solve real-world problems and learning new technologies constantly. In personal projects, I focus on unique perspectives, creative tool use, and solving problems at any scale.
During my undergraduate career, I have explored full stack and mobile development, integrating AI to enhance applications. I am always seeking opportunities to learn and grow.

Personal Website V.1.0
- Interest to showcase myself and give a place for anyone with information about myself or contact information for inquires.
- Used Bootstrap CSS to create the navigation columns and align the text and image next to each other
- Implemented linear-gradient attribute to include two colors as the website's background.
- Created button and mouse animations through CSS Keyframes and displayed contact information through Javascript DOM.
PoetHunt
- For my Java final project, I worked on an educational project with a team of two to gamify concepts of literature by creating a shotgun ui with mcq questions.
- Developed a point system, question bank along with explanations based on difficulty to challenge users to practice and gain maximum points.
- Built other pages like instructions to make the game intuitive along with icons to make it visually appealing.
Awards
Best Sustainability Track - Team Award Rose Hack 2023
- In a 24 hour MLH hackathon, I worked with two other people to make Mindsight, healthcare app resonating around mental health.
- I worked the UI design with another teammate using figma while my third teammate integrated the design into a functional program.
Deans Honor List
- Got an additional standing as Dean's Honors list in winter 2023
